Discrepancy Between Salary Sacrifice and RESC Figures in EOFY Finalisation Report

Hi Team,

I’ve noticed a discrepancy for one of our employees in the EOFY Finalisation Report. The "Salary Sacrifice" field shows a $0 balance, while the RESC amount is $4,550 — which correctly reflects the total salary sacrifice contributions made to his super fund for FY2025.

This employee has not changed super funds and simply ceased salary sacrifice contributions from February 2025. For our other three employees with salary sacrifice arrangements, the figures for Salary Sacrifice and RESC align correctly.

Could someone please assist in resolving this issue?

Many thanks,

Patrick

    Hi there @Patrick_8319167

So this particular employee has definitely not changed super funds at some point throughout the last financial year?

If not, was the salary sacrifice pay item removed from the employee's super fund in their profile?

    Hi Rav,

Yes, this particular employee has definitely not changed super funds at some point throughout the last financial year.

And the salary sacrifice pay item was removed from the employee's super fund in their profile when she ceased salary sacrifice contributions

    Gotcha, thanks for that.

I'm getting a bit more info on this from the product team about the intended behaviour here but from what I understand, if you re-add the salary sacrifice item that you used for this employee to their super fund then create a new EOFY finalisation, the Salary Sacrifice amounts will recalculate.

Also just for context, re-adding the salary sacrifice item back in doesn't mean any contribution needs to be made when creating a pay run ie. it can remain at $0.00.

I am having the same problem. I cleared up the employee that no longer has Salary Sacrifice using your work around.

However the employee that does salary sacrifice, the RESC is out, it reads 9.44 on every week of their pay on the report since July this year. The work around does not work since the update.

When is Reckon going to fix this problem? I have been having this problem for years. You cant manually put through an adjustment for the group certificates at the end of the year because STP.

Please get Reckon to fix this issue. We shouldn't have to do work arounds, when we pay for this software.
