EOFY reconcile problem

I changed from a desktop version to Reckon one before the end of the financial year. When I go to reconcile for the EOFY not all the employee payments are showing. It seems they haven't come over with the migration process. The pay runs I have done in Reckon One have been submitted to the ATO but don't show in STP Gov connect. Not sure what to do to finalise the year as most of the payments are in the desktop version

Hi there @Sally Lennon, welcome to the Reckon Community 🙂

I'm assuming the balances of the previous pay runs created in Reckon Accounts Desktop would have been migrated over as a YTD balance in each employee profile.

These balances will not appear in the Payroll Summary report in Reckon One however they will appear in the EOFY finalisation.

If you generate a new EOFY finalisation in Reckon One and review the balances, are they correct in terms of what the overall total should be?

They aren't appearing in the EOFY finalisation which makes me think they weren't migrated. I did have to reenter all my employee details as these didn't migrate. My migration wasn't very successful!

As they have all been submitted to STP can I change the starting balances in reckon one and finalise that way?

Let me get a review of your migration organised so we can take a look at this and get things straightened out for you.

I can see there are a couple of Reckon One books registered under your email address, can you let me know the name of the specific book that this relates to and I'll send through an access request.

If I look at an Account Enquiry report for last financial year all the payments are there but listed as "journal" not "payment". So the information is there, just not coming up in the EOFY finalisation or payroll summary
