Regions - Customers- Information suggestions.

Hey all,

Looking for some suggestions to set this up.

We are looking at wanting to do some targeted marketing for our client base in NZ, and as such, have been asked to generate contact reports. The issue is that some of our historical data is not accurate, and so it is making it difficult to extract the correct information.

I thought maybe we could start moving our clients into "Regions" so that we could achieve this. However, the only way I can see us making this happen at the moment is by using Custom Fields, as Customer Type is already allocated, and we cannot use that.

I have found Custom Fields to not be ideal when trying to get financial information reported back, as there does not seem to be a tenable link between the sales data and the customer masterfile.

So 2 questions:-

  1. If we just wanted straight contact information, what would be the best way to achieve
  2. If we needed to also get financial (sales) information, is this even achievable
