Leave Balance Accrual report - LSL balances

There is still an issue with the report in that it has a balance of LSL for all employee's even when they do not have a LSL balance on their file? Obviously this then displays incorrect entitlements. I thought I had raised this issue before but can't be sure. Is anyone else having this issue?

    Hi @727019

    Just to clarify, have these employees ever held an LSL item or balance?

    You mentioned it's showing LSL on all employees, does it show the same balance for LSL for these employees or are the balances different for all?

    Are there any commonalities that you can see?

    Hi Rav, the employee's have never held LSL item or balance, it shows the same balance for LSL for all these employee's being 494hrs - this amount equates to 13 weeks at 38hrs - in NT once you reach 10years of fulltime service that is the entitlement you are due, not sure if that helps?

    Thanks for that, I've just jumped into take a look and there definitely looks to be something a little off going on.

    Just to confirm, I can see 8 employees showing an LSL balance of 494 hours even though they do not have the LSL item added to their profile.

    I also noticed, that if you filter the Leave Balances report to only show Long Service Leave by selecting that item only under Show More Options, the report only displays the employees who DO have the Long Service Leave item added to their profiles with a valid balance which looks to be correct.

    I've put the details of this together into a case and sent it over to my dev team to investigate further. To be upfront and transparent, we've now entered into our code freeze with our teams starting to break up for the Xmas period so while the team will most definitely review this in the next few days, any fixes or changes are likely to be scheduled for early January once everyone is back.

    Hi Rav, no worries, I did realise that if I only select LSL that the balances are correct but it would be good to have if corrected so that you don't have to do that. Look forward to update in the New Year.
