we have a number of employees that require a payroll summary for any given period.
I am after a 1 page document and attach an example of what we are after. The issue re this report is that it does not show multiple pay rates for any given day or pay type. What is does display is the last rate used which is a little misleading.
How to create a summary page (1) which includes the breakdown for each day? Someone on the help desk is also looking into this for me?

A "Summary" is exactly that, so it won't show a breakdown. What you need is a detail report. HOWEVER, rates are specific to a Paycheque date, NOT a specific day worked within the pay period.
If you use the applicable Payroll Items on the in-program Timesheets, Time reports will show you specific hours for specific days, but these won't have rates attached as the rate isn't applicable until those hours are actually PAID (eg transfered/paid on a Paycheque)
NOTE: Payroll Items are intended to be generic though eg "Hrly Pay", "Time & Half" etc should be able to be used for ALL applicable employees, but with their specific rate entered/updated as required, in their employee record.
You can see here that this employee's hourly rate increased over this 3-mth period, containing 7 pays (indicated by the payment "Date"):
This is because the rate was updated in the employee's record accordingly & so prefilled on the Paycheque, as was relevant at that time.
Some people may choose to set up hourly Payroll Items based on their relevant Award rates … HOWVER this can get complex as Award Pay Rates tend to be extensive ! :
I guess you could have them set them up as you have - by day name - 🤔 … but this will only be helpful IF each day represents a single, specific, fixed rate. It will be problematic if more than one rate applies in a day though eg ordinary hours v OT hours (hence the above screen snip) 😬
