Employee who is also a customer - wont let me add them

I have a employees, who are also customers of mine.

It wont let me create an invoice or sales receipt for an employee, but when i try to set them up as a customer, i also cant because it says the contact has already been created (same name used).

Is there something I am doing wrong? Or will i have to set them up as a customer with something additional added to their name?

    Hi @HelenSHMS,

    You are correct. Reckon does not allow 2 contacts with exactly the same name. you will need to set the employee up as a customer with something slightly different added to the name.

    Hi @HelenSHMS

    There will be issues if the names are identical. Are you able to set them up like Jason Zhu(customer) and Jason Zhu(employee), so they act like separate entities?
