There appears to be a limit in the number of characters in the Notes section of the Employee Profile? Is this correct?

Hi Therese

Yes, there is currently a 1000 character limit on notes in the employee profile.

While this can't be raised or changed within your book settings right now, I'd recommend raising it as an idea in our Reckon One Payroll Ideas page HERE and I'd encourage fellow Community members to vote on it as well.

How many characters are you attempting to put in the notes?

You can use something like this to count it if needed.

If you really want to put a large amount of text in the employee profile notes, you could simply put a LINK/URL to something like an external document there, such as a Google Doc, a document in your own Microsoft One Drive, etc.

Thanks for the tips. I will raise it through the ideas page.

In the meantime, I will try the suggestion about a link to an URL but would prefer to have the notes on the profile. It is where I keep notes of pay increases, salary sacrifice requests and any significant notes on an error in pay run etc.
