How often should you download data file on Reckon Hosted to back up to local computer?

    Typically most of my clients will only back-up to a local computer rarely, but I advise (and they WILL!) regularly save a back-up to the online B: drive, at least once per week depending on business / transaction activity.

    I often send a general reminder to clients to ensure they do not forget to back-up regularly!

    Every single day you work on the file. Unlike other cloud offerings Reckon offers zero redundancy. Treat it like you would your own desktop file and backup backup backup and always have more than one in more than one place.

    At least daily. And depending on your transactions maybe more than daily.
