Enter sales of hand made products

How do I enter sales for products that have been made not purchased. I'm using Reckon Accounts Plus 2016.

  You have a number of options, the simplest method is to set a non inventory item

  Thanks for your reply. By 'set' do you mean I should create a non inventory item?  Then how do I enter that item as sold (as a cash sale)?

  Hi Anthony,
  
  Create items of type "non-inventory".
  Then you can create transactions of type cash sale and make use of the item there.
