Is it safe to migrate to this new system?

Really worried about this and very confused.

    And do I have to start it in this financial year, or can I update everything with the new release?

    do we have to update to STP2 in this financial year? I thought I saw somewhere Reckon has an exemption until September 2023. Is that correct?

    Yes our deferral has been extended to 30 September however please keep in mind, the new 2023 edition will only support STP Phase 2 pay runs and submissions.

    So if you're planning on upgrading to Hosted 2023 for the upcoming financial year, the first thing I'd recommend you do after upgrading is going through the STP Phase 2 Migration Assistant (info linked above) so you're ready and compliant under STP Phase 2 from the get-go.
