How do I reinstate a previously terminated employee in Reckon Payroll?

I had terminated an employee per Manager request 3 weeks ago as he's uncontactable. Now he returned to work again. How to reinstate the terminated employee for this instance? I am unable to delete the termination date on the employee's profile per Reckon Payroll message box.

Hi @Kiang
We've got some new functionality coming to Reckon Payroll very soon that will make handling the situation of rehiring former employees much easier so stay tuned for that.
âšī¸ Edit: The new rehiring functionality is now available! Check out my post below for more info.
However in the interim, the termination date cannot be removed from an employee profileIFa termination pay has also been actioned for that specific employee. Check out the two ways to handle this below -đ Termination pay run has been created in errorDelete the termination pay run âĄī¸ Then remove termination date in employee profileđ Employee is returning to employmentArchive the previous employee profile âĄī¸ Create new employee profile âĄī¸ This will require a new unique employee number and display name. It will also create a new entry in the individual's MyGov account for earnings, tax super reported for them via STP.0 -
