Reckon Hosted verses Reckon One

Hi
We have been Reckon Hosted users for 15+ years. Its annual renewal time and I was questioning the number of users and cost and Reckon contacted me and suggested Reckon one might be a cheaper option. I got a brief run down on the functions in Reckon One verses Hosted but I am interested in feedback on what people think is best option. We have 3 companies that each have their own hosted user (some have multiple). We have about 10 company files that full under these three companies.
Company A: 15 employees
Company B: 15 employees
Company C: up to 5 employees
We currently export timesheets from Deputy directly into Reckon Hosted. This is a must . I understand this is possible with Reckon one but you would have to go through third party like Xapier
We currently invoice in Reckon, don't need stock control, dont need project management.
Have been having a lot of problems with hosted dropping out and slow. Would need to know if Reckon One is quicker and doesn't have these problems.
Any info/experiences anyone has had would appreciated before we make the decision to change.
thanks
Leanne

While they are both cloud accounting software services, they're quite different in a lot of ways.
Firstly, Reckon Accounts Hosted is a more mature software in terms of its features and functionality. Its based on our Reckon Accounts Enterprise software, and as you know, it has the added benefits of the cloud using a terminal server environment ie. you can login from an internet browser on any PC. Its more advanced and its features cover a broad spectrum for small to enterprise level accounting software requirements.
Reckon One is the newer kid on the block and its a cloud service built on newer technology and uses our next-gen payroll solution called Reckon Payroll which would be really handy for your staff. While its not as rich as Hosted in terms of functionality for larger businesses, its an awesome solution for small business and is continually evolving.
Each software has its own way of doing things so if you're using Hosted already at the moment then my recommendation to you would be to give Reckon One a test drive first by taking out a free 30 day trial and see how it works for you and your requirements.
I'll add some info on Reckon One here -

Thank you Rav. I will have a look at the free trial. Is it possible/easy to import your data from Hosted to Reckon one in the trial so you can really experience the functionality of it using your own data or can you only use it with dummy file on it.
If anyone else has any positive/negative/general opinions on the differences and features would love to know.
cheers
Leanne

Unfortunately, there's no direct method to import your Reckon Accounts Hosted file into Reckon One as they operate on very different technology. I'd recommend using the demo book or adding a little dummy data into your trial book to see how things work.
After you've trialled Reckon One and if you decide that it works for you, then you can submit your file through our data migration service to bring it over to Reckon One.For info on our data migration service and also details on our free migration offer check out this page -

Thanks Rav, I had a quick play in the demo book. I noticed however the data in the demo book is old, it is still on stp phase one. Is there an updated version?

Not at this stage unfortunately @Leanne_7663246 but I believe that is on the product team's radar for improvement.
