Reckon Accounts Home & Business 2023 (desktop) Dual installations?

I have used this software for many years and am quite happy with it but I cannot use the program on more than one computer. I know I could move across to one of the online applications but I cannot find one that will handle all the functionality of Home and Business program. Can anyone suggest an alternative solution?

Specifically, along with the usual accounting functions I need the ability to have the following on two computers (desktop and laptop):

  1. Update stocks on line
  2. Update foreign currencies on line
  3. Have accounts in more than one currency.
  4. Report in multiple currencies.

If both your desktop computer and laptop computer have internet access, you could install the Reckon Accounts Home & Business software on the desktop computer along with the data file. Then you can make use of remote-access software to remotely access your desktop computer from your laptop.

You can do a web search for a key phrases like "remote access software for windows", "remote access software tools", "free remote access software tools", and you can explore the many different options available.

There is the built-in "Windows Remote Desktop" or there are products like TeamViewer, Chrome Remote Desktop, PC Anywhere, Anydesk, etc.

Some are free, most are paid-for software.

Thanks folks. I assume that means none of your cloud based programs have the functionality I need.

I use Chrome Remote Desktop a lot - it’s free so you can install on your computers and check it out first
