Payment via Bank Online
Hi
Can I only use the Bank Online for 1 bank account?
I have 2 bank accounts I would like to use the bank online payment method with, but the system is only letting me use one.
Thanks

No, you can definitely have more than one.
Have you configured the Online Bank Details tab under BOTH accounts ? (Note: This screenshot is from the sample file, for demonstration) :

I have. When I checked my original online bank account the bank details were missing. I filled in the bank account details and saved them and then I went in to edit mode on the other account (that previously had the online banking details) the account number field was blank.
I am in single user mode when doing this.

I've tried a few time now to get both Reckon accounts to have bank online information (for the same bank account) however the information appears to only be able to be retained in full by one account.

Yeah, I've had this happen a few times too β¦ Had to re-enter the details under both accounts several times, until it actually retained it ππ
Is this a known glitch @Rav ?

Are you trying to have the exact same Account Number and BSB Number for two different bank account records in the Chart of Accounts List?
a) Yes, I want two different bank account names in the Chart of Accounts List to have identical online banking details
b) No, I want two different bank accounts in the Chart of Accounts List to have two different sets of online banking details

@Datarec Both
In some cases, I use a βclearingβ bank account just for bulk payments (as well as the standard bank account)

I've just tested the scenario of two Bank accounts in the Chart of Accounts List having identical online banking details.
The second bank account when setup with identical details was able to be saved successfully.
A file integrity check detected no errors.
In the sample file that was used to test this process, the issue you had described did not occur.
