I am having trouble deleting files and folders.

I have ticked the file and gone to actions and clicked Delete - nothing happens.

I also tick a folder and go to actions and delete is greyed out .

Just realised I could do it the old way, File Open or restore

    I've found this too sometimes @Kris_Williams. Renaming also doesn't always appear to work immediately - It seems like there's a bit of a file-updating-action delay, on the new platform 😬

    From my interaction of the new option it would seem that you cannot delete the following

    Folders

    *.TLG

    *.ini

    *.sys

    *.tlx

    I was unable to delete any folders using the new Files icon. I had to go to file - restore and view the files from there, then click on the folder and hit delete key

    Morning all,

    At the moment, you can delete single or multiple files using the new My Files menu however at this stage, doing so for folders isn't available yet. That's something we're working on at the moment and the reason its not in the first release is due to the complexity around shared folders and how to best manage these.

    At the current time, deleting folders can still be actioned by accessing the 'classic' file explorer as @Kris_Williams has mentioned above.

    Will keep you posted once I have news of any developments in this area.
