Help please - Super balance does not match EOFY Super for one employee

Hi trying to finalise EOFY. Unfortunately, one of the employees' EOFY Super balance is not correct. Please note that the employee did have a fund change during the year. Both funds are marked "Active" and noted on the employee super details.
The "Super contributions by employee" Report is correct.
Appreciate any help

Hi again @amltong
Good news, my devs have just got back to me and I believe this should be sorted for you now. Can you please create a new EOFY finalisation and just confirm that the balance for super is now showing correctly?
Cheers

Yes. Both funds are included.
Have been looking at your workaround (adding the balance as a new super item in the employee section) for another customer. And will try that now.

The balance in EOFY is now correct

Hold fire on that. That recommendation is a bit of a specific one for a unique case/situation.
It might apply to you as well but I'd like to just check it out first.
Can you give me the name of an employee that is affected and I'll jump in and take a quick look.

Ah you were super quick! 😄
Ok, well I'm glad its in balance now but can I just confirm that you had the old system-generated default super fund in-use previously?

The default is active but not used this FY. M Browning is the name. Ok will wait for you. Haha so glad when the total was correct

Apologies, been in back to back meetings. Checking it out now! 🙂

I don't think I deleted any items. Just left them as active but not used

Can you do me a favour and remove the super balance that you added to the initial YTD in this employee's profile. I'd just like to capture some additional details around this.

Ok have deleted it. And confirmed that the EOFY balance has returned to the incorrect number. Also checked the employee super report - and it is correct.

Thanks for doing that 🙂
Quick update here - I can certainly see a variance for super for this employee in the EOFY finalisation vs what appears in the Payroll Detail, Super Transactions and Super Contributions reports.
Can I please ask for a favour here, while re-adding the difference into the initial YTD like you did previously will get the balances back in-line I'd like to get this looked at properly and see what has caused that.
For transparency, there is an issue we're working on where if an employee has changed superfunds and a fund is removed from their profile its impacting super and salary sacrifice balances in the EOFY finalisation. However in your case, you have both funds added to the employee profile so I would have expected the balances attributed to those funds to appear correctly in the EOFY finalisation.
So with all that said, I've put the details of this together into a case and sent it over to my devs to investigate. If you're ok to do so, can you please leave this with me just for a bit and I'll see if I can get a little bit more info on this?

Thanks for that. No problems. Just let us know if you are able to track down the issue. If not, we can go back to the hack just to make the deadline when the time comes. Thanks for looking into this.
