I am having problems with the new platform on uploading files.

eg. Paying accounts, then uploading to Q file thats fine. Finding in Q file then trying to upload the transaction so I can send to Bank, is not working. Not sure what I am doing wrong, seem to be fine for a few weeks but am now unable to upload the files.

Any suggestions?

    Hi @agofarm,

    Thanks for your message.

Just to clarify, are you trying to create and download an .aba file in Reckon Accounts Hosted? It sounds like you're able to generate and save the file to the Q drive but I'm a bit unsure about what you are attempting to upload.

Look forward to hear from you.

Hi Yes I am trying to download an .aba file . Am saving to Q file.

I am trying to upload the Wages file, from the Reckon Accounts, to the bank for payment.

Please advise which it the correct way to do this, as I have resorted to doing it manually, which is time consuming with 28 employees

    thanks

    Teresa

after saving the aba file go to Files, Q drive, type aba in search window. If there are a lot of aba files click on Date Modified twice and it will show the recent file at the top. Click the box on the left and then go to Actions Download, and it will download to your download folder on the computer

    Thanks Kris,

Please give the steps @Kris_Williams has provided a go.

I was just worried as you mentioned that things seemed fine for a few weeks but you're now unable to upload files again. I wasn’t sure if there might be something else causing the issue.

If the usual file download process isn’t working as expected, just let me know the details and I’ll look into it for you.

    Cheers,
    Jason

    Thanks Kris

The problem is that when I go to Actions - I only have the "Rename" available, the Delete and Download are not highlighted.

Just found if I double click on the file it seems to download to the file.

    thanks Teresa

Are you in the new My Files window and have you ticked a file - not a folder

There's a good video of using the new toolbar to download files
