Unused Annual Leave and Long Service Leave treatment when Employee Resigns

Good afternoon all,
We have one employee resigned. We are paying the employee his unused annual leave, and personal leave. I would like to request for your support in treating the unused annual leave and long service leave in Reckon and also the steps in creating a new pay items if we have to create in Reckon. I am new to Reckon, and this is my first time processing employee termination benefits in Reckon. You assistance and guidance will be highly appreciated. Thank You.

Good afternoon,
The unused annual leave for the employee who resigned have been entered as leave cash out in Reckon. Also, the employee was paid long service leave, and entered as leave cash-out which was not correct. Please help me with this. Thank you.

Hi @Yeepy
Unused Personal Leave is not usually paid out on termination & unused LSL is only payable after the minimum term of service that applies in your state.I think some 1-on-1 training would be helpful for you as there are a number of things to consider that can impact this scenario, along with others you’ve posted about also.
If that’s something you would like to pursue, feel free to email me direct & we can get this - & your other queries - covered & things operating correctly 😁
