Export a Profit and Loss file to excel

Hi, I need to download or upload our profit and loss reports to an excel spreadsheet like above. There used to be the icons on the right of the screen letting you upload the details to excel but i can't find that icon anywhere with the new updates. Where do I look for this now please if anyone knows.

Hi @Grand1
You can upload and download files from the My Files menu in Reckon Accounts Hosted.
Check out this post below for a walkthrough on how to use My Files 👇

Are you trying to download the report you're exporting?

Hi @Grand1
Apologies for the inconvenience.
If I am understanding correctly, with the new release, that icon (Toolbox) is replaced with a floating toolbar at the top as in the screenshot below -
As @Rav provided above, you can check the guide on how to download and upload from the new replaced toolbar. Please let us know how you go or if you have any concerns/issues. Thank you!

Yes, I found that sorry but when I download the Profit and Loss Statement to the excel spreadsheet it doesn't show the whole quarter's profit and loss I'm chasing as below. What am I doing wrong now??

Hi @Grand1
Please confirm if you are trying to save the report in the existing excel sheet or creating a new one to save the Profit & Loss Report?
When you generated report in the software, does it give you the accurate data (Before saving it to an excel file) and confirm if we are opening the correct file.
Also, check if you have any filters added to the report before saving it as excel.

Thanks for confirming @Grand1
If you can please confirm whether you are following the steps as mentioned and if you haven't, please try and follow the steps and confirm, if the issue still persists.
- Open a company file and generate Profit & Loss report
- Export the Report as "a new workbook" and clicked Export
- Save the file in Q-Drive
After this process, go to My Files to download the Saved file (from the floating toolbar at the top)
- Click on My Files
- Select the Drive where you have the file saved
- Search the name of the saved file
- Tick the front of the file and click Actions
- Click Download
Now, the file is downloaded for offline use and should be saved in your Downloads.
- Go to your Downloads
- Open the file in Excel
- Confirm if the file has the data matched to what was in the generated report

Yes that's exactly what I'm doing. I'm going to sign out of Reckon completely and sign back in and try again. This is so frustrating when things get updated and changed to supposedly make things easier!!!!
