Can't generate new invoice in the Invoice App

Is there Reckon Invoices App down at the moment? I can't generate a new invoice.

Hi all,
I just wanted to let you know the latest update to the Reckon Invoices App is now available for download from your app store.
This version carries a fix for the issue where new invoices could not be created.
Please grab the latest update from your app store and then try it out. Let me know if you still have any trouble with it.

Are you receiving any particular error message in the app when you attempt to create a new invoice?
Also, are you using the Apple or Android version of the Invoice app?
Lastly, are you on the latest version of the Reckon Invoices App? The current version is 3.3.12, are there any updates available to you in your app store?

Hi Rav,
I am using an Android and I'm on the latest version of the app.
I am trying to press the + button to start a new invoice and it's not working. Even when I click on an invoice to receive payment it doesnt give me the option for receiving the payment.

I've just logged into my own account on the app and tested out a few of my books and can replicate the same behaviour you're experiencing.
Let me get this over to our mobile dev team to investigate what's happening there. In the meantime, I'd recommend logging into your main Reckon One book on a PC here - Login to Reckon One and you should be able to create invoices without issue there.
Apologies for the hassle this is causing right now and thanks for flagging this. I'll keep you posted.

Just a quick update to let you know our team have found the cause of the issue in the Invoices App. They're working on a fix right now and it'll be released hopefully later today or if not, then tomorrow but I'll keep you updated.

It seems as though the whole invoicing system is down even on the PC. I can login but when I try and create a new invoice or receive payment it says "something has gone wrong"

Hmm that definitely doesn't sound good. I'm going to shoot through an access request to your book. It'll come through separately in an email, can you please grant access when you have a sec and I'll take a look at that.

Thanks Ed, I just jumped in to check it out.
Can you let me know where specifically that error message appears? ie. when you create a new invoice does it appear as soon as you click the Add button to create a brand new invoice, or does it appear after you've finished entering the details and then try to save the invoice?
Only reason I ask is, I just tried creating a new invoice in the book by clicking the Add button and the new invoice creation screen appeared normally.

To be fair I'm accessing the main website using my phone. So basically the PC access off my phone.
I go the unpaid invoices page and click on the "new invoice" button and it comes up with that error.

Ah ok gotcha. I think the experience on a mobile browser could do with some improvement as usually that's the what app would be for.
With that said, if you click on your browser menu then tick the Desktop Site option then refresh the page I believe it should work a bit better.
Give that a go and let me know how you go.

I am new to Reckon and my App is not working either. I see that may be fixing it , does anyone know if this has been done as I cannot use mine still today

We've submitted a new app update with the fix to both Apple & Google for approval, once that goes through the new update will be available in your app stores to download. I'll post an update here once that happens.
In the meantime, if you login to Reckon One on your browser on a PC here - Login to Reckon One you will be able to create new invoices and record payments for existing invoices.

Can you let me know what's happening specifically? Is the + button to create a new invoice greyed out or is there an error appearing etc?
If you could add a screenshot here that would be great as well.

Nothing happens, i deleted the App, i re downloaded the app, logged in and it was exactly the same, still cant add an invoice or do anything…

Gotcha thanks @Acid_Rip, and my apologies I think I've jumped the gun a little here. The new update for the Invoices App is available on Android as Google has approved the new build however I've just found out we're still waiting on Apple to give the greenlight for the iOS version.
I'll keep you posted on this.
