Reckon Payroll App not opening


I have updated Reckon payroll and now unable to sign in. The screen closes before I can choose sign in and returns to the Google Play page. 😕

Just to confirm, are you version 8.3.1 of the Reckon Payroll app?
Can you try closing the app in full ie. Swipe it away from any apps running in the background then reopen it and try again.

I have closed all open apps, restarted the tablet and tried to open Reckon payroll..it just shuts down before I can choose sign in. I have also changed my password. I am pretty certain it is version 8.3.1.
When I began to open Payroll this morning there was a message saying before using Payroll I needed to update it. When it wouldn't open I deleted and reloaded the programme.

It sounds as though you've done all the right things. I just tried out the app (v8.3.1) on my Samsung Galaxy S24 and a Samsung Galaxy tablet and in my case it seemed to work ok.
Can you try going to Settings ➡️Apps ➡️ Reckon Payroll ➡️ Storage ➡️ Clear Data and then reopen the app and try to login.
If you use a browser app on your tablet and head over to Login to Reckon One and sign in with your usual app login details, this will take you to the full Reckon Payroll experience which should allow you to get your pay runs done.

Just a quick update to let you know the Reckon Payroll App has received a new version, v8.4.1 which is now available to download from your app store.
When you have a chance, can you please grab the update from Google Play and then try to login to the app and let me know if you're able to successfully get in?

The tablet Payroll App is working now, thanks Rav. I did the update using Google Play apps and everything is fine now.🤗
