Character Count on Bill Ref No and Chq no

Hi Community

Sam very kindly responded to my question recently. I was asking Sam about increasing the number of characters in the bill reference no area in hosted. He said there is currently up to 20 characters. I was just entering a bill and I put the invoice number in and it wouldn't fit. I counted the number of characters available and it is only 11. Am I doing something wrong or does Sam have his character count wrong? I often have long invoice numbers and it drives me crazy having to put them in the memo instead of their intended spot. Any advice is appreciated.

    Thanks for creating this post here.

    I jumped into my own test file to try this out and in my case, I was able to enter 20 characters into the reference field on a bill. See example below

    Just to check though, am I looking/doing something different to what you are?

    Hi Rav,

    Thanks for that I worked it out. My mistake it was credit card not bills. Credit cards has less characters. Any chance of increasing this
