I use quicken 2010 personnal plus, today it stop entering transaction

i am old guy using personnal plus since 1991..
everything was ok tilol today?? i open quicken normally.. i enter 2 transactions ok.. then i enter another transaction?? as
date.. ssell stock . number of shares .. price
.. it calculate.. but does not process it
may i ask for help?? thank you
i got 2 laptops and mboth do same

In regard to your query itself, are you encountering an error message at all throughout this process? Have you shut the software down in full then relaunched it then tested again?

i use quicken 2010 personnal plus
it stop working 0n 18 september ,, when i was entering stocks transactions\??it type it in .. but does not enter . and mov e next line??
quicken did give me a new link to reinstall ??
still does not work??
my son had a look and say
i have 16000 transactions entries .. the computer is so slow?? and he think it did reach the limit??
what you suggest

i install the RECKON 31.. paid subscribption..
restore backup file as per qi\uicken2010
last entries were 18 september..
now i try to enter transaction , say as 10 november ..
when enter »> does not process and move to next?

on the RECKON/ QUICKEN i run
the company.. and as sub account private..
i just did an entry and it work..

so where is the issue??
quicken 2010 has been updated to Reckon 31,
entries stop adding / processing 18 september 2025 on company account.
on parrallel it still working on trading account??

we look at memories problems?? both laptops got 4 GB , which seems enough according to RECKON specs?
not likely memories issues?? second hint??
backup files?? we did a new backup file? coz suggested IDRIVE could bwe an issue??

did a validate check?? can not find it again» but was a few issues ,, only in 2009 ?? not sure>
but all entries on quicken are proof by banks and brokers statements.. and all matching>
can not see an issue??

i ask a friend to try
i try install 4 different version of quicken and i cannot get them to install on my computer. so i download windows 7, install quicken 2010 but i dont have serial number. so i install 2013 and it install without serial number - but your file still broken in the same way. and i have more ram 16GB. same problems - cannot add one transaction until i delete one transaction. and its very slow to add the transaction. very late now but try more tomorrow

Azuka try to stop rambling because all it's doing is making your issue harder to understand.
Are now using v31 or some other version because you've mentioned probably 4 different versions at this point.
If you can't add another entry, what have you tried so far?
