Shared screen/dual usage

Hi
Hoping someone can solve a mystery for me. Our company has multiple hosted users and multiple company files. We recently shared a company file so that I could use it through my hosted log in. I logged in at the same time a colleague was in the company file (she was logged in through her hosted user log in). We were in multi user and I saw my mouse move. I didn't think anything of it at first then I realised she could see what I was doing and I could see what she was doing. We could both work on the particular entry we were in at the same time. It was like we had shared our screens with each other. I didn't even know this was possible or how we did it. Is it possible and how do I do it again? Was great as I was showing her how to do something over the phone and it made it very easy. I am very keen to know how I did this.
thanks
Leanne

I can help you solve this one 🙂
When a second person logs in using the same Reckon Accounts Hosted user login, the session will be mirrored. That second user will see everything the first user is doing on-screen and vice versa.
With that said, you mentioned the file was shared and each user was accessing Hosted using their own individual login. Sorry to ask the basic question, but are you 100% sure they were logged in using their own login? If they were, and the file was shared, it should have allowed individual access to the file.

Hi Rav,
I have learnt something new. I am thinking you are right that we were both logged in under same hosted user. I was setting up the sharing of file that day so had logged in initally to my colleagues user to do this. I had been in and out multiple times as it wasn't sharing at first. Its possible thats when it happened and I didn't realise. Thats a pretty cool feature. I never knew you could mirror the session.
thanks for solving the mystery
cheers
