Recommend that you make a copy of your existing current data file and save it in a known location.

Then if you have been backing up regularly, consider locating the most recent backups and attempt to open them.

When I am using Reckon Personal Plus it just crashes randomly Usually when I try and do a share update or access a report .

I have updated to V31 as per your instructions re a clean install twice. I have had the computer looked at and there are no problems. Gerry Winter has accessed it and can't see the problem . The technician who set up the computer has had it in the shop and advises it is good . I restored a previous backup all to no avail He mentioned he had a reckon customer with a similar problem who accessed a file repair facility from Reckon ?

I have to ask, why reckon a leader in accounting software cannot talk directly to Parallels a leader in operating Windows-based programs on an Apple environment. You are both High Tech companies with a lot of expertise far beyond that of your users. We would expect that you would take up this cause and solve our problems as any reputable company would do..

Well said, the only thing that I would add is that all other Intel products e.g. Windows 11, Microsoft Office and a whole range of other programs all work using Parallels, what is so special about reckon that it will not work. Lastly, if this is such a problem. Is there any reason why I reckon can't do a cloud based personal Plus version that would overcome all of these problems.
