I worked it out - had to go back into the Bank Payment list and delete that aba payment - I then delete the journal entry and then the individual duplicated transaction payments to employees in the transaction list.
Sounds like a stuff up at the Reckon end if it happened to other people.
What gets me is that they dont recognise these things happening and dont provide enough help to rectify the problem - we have to work it out ourselves taking time and stress !!
Im getting a bit frustrated - as we have also had a lot of errors in the calculations of LSL, annual leave and sick leave on a number of employees and when one of my partners did discuss it with Reckon support they logged in and stuffed more balances up !!!

you can have every faith in Shaz, sheβs an expert, and there is absolutely no reason not to do what she said. I do not need any notes for my leave and I also have bonuses. Reckon does its job automatically when it is setup correctly

He is telling me his file was an American version so he will get in touch with our migration team for help
Re: Reckon Accounts Personal Plus v31 (2024) fails installation on Parallels
This suggestion from Datarec was successful.
I did get my IT consultant to carry it out but the complete deletion of Parallels (and W11 with it) followed by a reinstall of both worked. we were able to install v31 at first attempt.
Key in the process was the complete deletion of anything that was attached to Parallels, include empty the trash bin, and anything sitting residually in all but your Downloads file.
Once that was done the reinstall of Parallels (from previous Downloads) and Windows was without incident.
I've been using v31 for an hour or so now and all looks good. π€ Many thanks
