Deleting Old Version of Reckon Accounts Before Installing New

Hi. I am trying to install Reckon Accounts Personal 2015 via a link on email. It appears to download but before it will instal it on my computer it says I must first delete Reckon Accounts 2013. I went into Programs on my computer but it won't give me the option to uninstall the 2013 version. How do I delete it? (sorry, I'm a bit of a novice!)

Hi, Tracy,
When you went into "Programs" you presumably clicked on "Uninstall a program" and all your programs would have appeared in the list displayed - I assume.
At what point did the uninstall program refuse to proceed further? Perhaps we will be able to then find out what went wrong.

You may consider to try a very good free ware uninstaller called REVO UNISTALLER at http://www.revouninstaller.com/

Hi Tracy,
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-au/windows/uninstall-change-programTo uninstall or change a program
Open Programs and Features by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking Programs, and then clicking Programs and Features.
Select a program, and then click Uninstall. Some programs include the option to change or repair the program in addition to uninstalling it, but many simply offer the option to uninstall. To change a program, click Change or Repair. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
Also as per alainpaur, the freeware version of Revo Uninstaller should do the job if the previous steps did not work for you.* Data Recovery Team *

In 'Programs and Features', all my programs are listed. However, when I select Reckon 2013 it does not give me the option to uninstall, change or repair. When I click on some other programs I can see that it does give the option to uninstall but not Reckon 2013.
