Anyway to show transaction or create (income/expense) against a project?

Hi,

Is there anyway we sort income and expense transactions by project?

Hi Ben

Assuming you have the Projects module enabled in Reckon One, you can create a profit and loss report for a project or projects. This will show income and expenses for a particular project.

To do this:

1. Go to Reporting > Reports Centre > 'Financial' category
2. Generate a profit and loss report
3. Choose 'Show more options'
4. On the Projects button choose 'Selected' then you can choose a particular project
5.  Refresh the report

To allocate a transaction to a project, when you add the invoice, bill or journal, you will be able to select a particular project for each row of the transaction.

A report that includes the transaction information, including the project is under Report centre / Advisor / Ledger transactions but you have to sort yourself.
