Hello, can you please give us instructions on how a bookkeeper can change the ownership of a Reckon Hosted R2 file to a client?

Hi Vanessa,
Is the file being shared with other users/the client?0 -
Hello Vanessa
If the shared folder has been setup under your (bookkeeper id) what you will need to to is take a backup of the data file.
Log in as the client, restore the file, then reshare out the file, to all those requiring access.
You then need to make sure you delete the data file etc from the old shared folder, so the file is not used accidentally.
I then also set the number of files back to one, so the only link they then see is the new shared file, then reset to the correct number required.
Also delete the short cut to the old shared folder.

Yes, currently their old bookkeeper owns the file, we have suggested client takes over the file and they will invite us (accountant) as an advisor/user.0
