If you have been asked to provide a screenshot or screen capture follow this guide from Microsoft on how to use the built-in snipping tool.
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/13776/windows-10-use-snipping-tool-to-capture-screenshotsAlternatively, you can simply press the print screen key on your keyboard and then paste the captured screen in the email body.
The print screen capture key is usually written on the keyboard key-cap as "
PrtScn"
Example: A support technician asks you to provide a screenshot of what you can see on the screen when an error message is displayed.
1) Have the application running such as Reckon Accounts desktop or Hosted
2) Press the
PrtScn key which will begin the capture process for what is displayed on-screen
3) Create a new email or reply to the email in which you have been asked to take a screenshot
4) Place your cursor in the email body (as if you are about to write something)
5) Press the Ctrl + V keys to 'paste' the captured image into the email body
