Adding Company File Server

I currently run Reckon Accounts Premier on my computer. We would like to set up a second computer with Reckon Accounts for a 2nd user. Do I have to uninstall on the host computer first and then reinstall with the company file server, or can I just install the company file server onto the computer that will host the company files. The host computer is not a dedicated server.

Hi Sharon,
You need to ensure that you are clear on which computer you want to be the one that will contain the QBW (company data file).
If you did not previously enable the installation of the Company File Server when you first installed the Reckon Accounts software on your first computer, then it may be better that you uninstall the software first, then re-install it again and enable the Company File Server option.
