Can't delete an item as it's in use?

Hi, I set up a dummy invoice as we had to send a blank one to a client for their processing system and now I want to delete the Item which I created.  I have deleted the invoice and yet I can't delete the Item which I know is not used anywhere else as far as I know.  Any clues on how to find where it is in use or how to delete it?  Thanks

    Chris..Open the Item List and highlight the particular item that you are referring to.  At the bottom of the page click on Reports and from the drop down list, select  Fast Report and then from the dates window, scroll up to All and select that.  The resultant report should show you where you have used this item.
