New eligible employees under updated Jobkeeper extension: As of 3 August 2020, the key date for assessing employee eligibility is now 1 July 2020, rather than 1 March 2020.
Therefore, more employees might be eligible for
the fortnights commencing on
3 and 17 August 2020, employers have until 31 August 2020 to meet the wage condition for the new eligible employees under the 1 July eligibility test.
My situation is an employee started work on 29/6/2020. For the reporting period of 03/08/2020 - 16/08/2020 and 17/08/2020 - 30/08/2020, do I need to add a new item: Allowance-JOBKEEPER-START-FN10, and add the allowance into the pay run of 03/08/2020 - 16/08/2020 and might have allowance-top-up?

Di Vicky.  I assume that this is a permanent employee rather than a casual.  You only need to add JOBKEEPER-START-FN10 once and it can be in the pay in which you make the back payments.  You do not have to go back into any earlier pays and do anything.  So you would calculate what the payments will be for each of the pays which relate to FN10 and subsequent, up to your next August pay and include them in bulk in that pay.
