Multi-user hosting issues after update.

After our update in July to 2020 of Accounts Premier Contract Edition we cannot seemlessly open the company file in multi user. The main server/pc which hosts the company file must have the program running and a user logged in for other users to be able to open the company file.
If the server/pc is restarted we have to get IT to open the Reckon program and log in admin in. Previously this wasn't the case. Our IT people have tried everything to stop this with no luck. Multiple error messages come up depending on whether the server is hosting multi user access or not. We have tried installing all three versions and no difference.
Has anyone else had this issue and were able to fix it?

@Belinda Unfortunately, most IT people will just set things up in their own standard way. However it's really crucial that they ensure the setup is as per Reckon's guidelines as there are specifics depending on each scenario & not adhering to this always causes connection/access issues eventually !
