how to do a report on new customers since a certain date

I would like to do a report on new customers since Dec 2019 so I can update our end of year trading hours Christmas mail out.

    You could run an invoices report & filter the dates from 01/12/19 to now ?

    😁I have done that. I was just hoping for something a bit better. But I can work with that. Just glad the bosses haven't asked 'How many new customers have we got since covid' etc.

    In the Customer section of the Company Snapshot there is also a field there that tells you how long (in years & months) they have been a customer for. (Unfortunately though, you have to select a specific customer, rather than it showing a summary/report on all)

    Hi StaceyL,

    One method you can using moving forward to be able to know when a particular Customer record was added, is to use the Notes/Note fields.

    You can edit a Customer record and click on the Notes button to add a note that indicates when that company or individual first became a customer.

    Then when generating a Customer Contact List report, you can add that Notes and Note field to be displayed in the report.

    ensure that the Note field is added as this contains the information you add in the Notes.
