Continue to declaration

Hi, I am having a similar issue with declaring eofy for STP. I have migrated to the Payroll app and trying to finalise eofy. I'm following instructions as provided above but I can't "continue to declaration". All the payroll information is correct and the "continue to declaration" bar is there and highlighted in blue but when I touch it, nothing happens. I have checked all phone settings, restarted phone and I still can't proceed. Please help.

Thank you. I have just done this. There are no red dots left on any tabs on any employee and unfortunately I still can't continue to declaration.

Thanks for checking that @Percy123
One other thing to check if you can please. Go into the Settings section in the app and select the 'Software ID' option. Scroll to the bottom of this section and confirm if the 'I've registered my Software ID' option is ticked.

Thank you. Yes, it is ticked.

Thanks @Percy123. Let me have a chat with the support team for any further insight they can give me.
Sorry but just double checking, you've made sure that the employees that are included in this submission are ALL correct regardless of whether or not the red dot appears in their profile AND ALSO the balances within the submission are all correct as well?

Thank you. Balances are correct. Employee setup is correct to the best of my knowledge. Thanks.

The eofy finalisation is the first time using the payroll app. Thanks.

@Percy123 This seems to be an issue in Payroll App if you have not created any payruns from within. I think you may have a couple of options. But first make sure the employee Income Statement in ATO Mygov is showing the correct details at End of Year (assuming it is 20/21).
- When you go to EOFY Payrun in Payroll App (assuming you are seeing the 20/21 Payruns) do you see the Declaration banner at bottom of phone screen and what happens if you press on it?
- You could go to the web browser on PC and log into https://payroll.reckon.com/login using your Payroll app credentials. If you see the EOFy data for employee try to run the EOFY payrun for 20/21 and see how far it goes. But make sure you log out of this Community page first before trying the Payroll app on web browser.
Come back with what you find. Good luck.

Abn is 89116024090. Thank you. I was out of the office yesterday so haven't yet followed up on your previous instructions. Should I hold off until I hear further?

Ok back again @Percy123
One of my colleagues have just got back to me after checking a few things over. Unfortunately however nothing on the configuration of the employees or the Initial YTD data appeared to be out of the ordinary so it hasn't quite led to the conclusion we were looking for.
They did however have a couple of suggestions which if they don't give us any joy we'll need to get a developer on the case.
The first is, we want to verify whether or not you're able to proceed with any normal submission aside from this EOFY finalisation ie. is it affecting just this submission OR any and all submissions you attempt to send from the Payroll App. I definitely appreciate that you may not be at the stage of sending a submission for the current 2021/22 financial year but if you are then please feel free to do or alternatively try a pay run submission of $0.
The second suggestion is to login to the web access of the Payroll App here - https://payroll.reckon.com/ and just see if you're able to complete the EOFY finalisation from there OR does it result in the same issue as what you're contending with on the mobile app?
Let me know how you go.

Thank you. I have successfully run a $0 payroll. I was able to continue through the process right through to declaring to ATO. I then tried to perform the eofy finalisation and the same issue occurred - I was unable to continue to declaration. I will try the web access now.

I have successfully run the eofy finalisation via the web access. It is currently pending with the ATO. Thanks.

Thanks for getting back to me @Percy123. While I'm really glad to hear you were able to proceed with your EOFY finalisation in the web access, its still a strange problem since it allowed you to send the normal $0 submission but not the EOFY on the mobile app.
I'll speak to our devs again about it but for now, I'll get you to continue using the Payroll App as normal for the new 2021/22 year and please do let me know if you experience the same behaviour on a normal pay run submission as well.

Thanks for your help

@Rav I too had the same issue end of June. I had to run a $0 Payrun submission to overcome this from Payroll App. But even then could not get the EOFY 20/21 Declaration label to activate. I was able to run it from the web access though. In any case I don't have to worry for another year before running the EOFY.😀

Nice to know I wasn't the only one!
