From STP to Payroll app. Only want to do Basic and having problems creating payrun .

Hi Rav,

I have migrated from STP toPayroll app and am having problems creating my 1st payrun.

Although my employees are listed it won't let me use them.Is this because I haven't completed all their details? In STP what I had was sufficient.

Also I don't want to do Premium as Basic is perfect for our small business but it seems I have no choice as it keeps offering 3 free trials .

    Yes that's correct, you'll need add a little bit more info for your employees in the Payroll App. The reason for this is this app performs actual payroll tasks and calculations so it uses the criteria that you set for employees in order to do so.

    You need to complete ALL the tabs with the necessary info within the employee profile for it to save successfully. You may need to swipe across to see the other tabs. I'll add a screenshot below which hopefully illustrates what I'm referring to.


    In regard to the Basic plan, you can switch over straight away if you don't wish to trial out the added functionality you get in the Premium plan. To change over to basic, press the 'Upgrade' button in the bottom right corner and select the Basic plan option.
