    Hi John

This post has been created in the Reckon One category, is that what you're using?

If so, then as Reckon One is a pure cloud solution that you access via your browser upgrading to Windows 11 will not have any effect on your service.

No worries, I'll move it over to the right category 🙂

In regard to Reckon Accounts (desktop) the current 2021 release has not been tested on Windows 11 as official builds of the OS were not available until well after the software entered its release cycle, and more importantly the testing period. You likely won't experience any issues but I just have to preface it by stating we can't guarantee anything as it wasn't tested for that OS.

With all that said, I've checked in with our Product team and they've confirmed the next/upcoming release (2022 edition) will be going through Windows 11 testing and QA.

    Hi there John,

I'll leave the decision on when to upgrade to the new OS to you in case you have other apps installed on your PC that might not play nice with it. From this end though the new 2022 edition of Reckon Accounts (desktop) has been tested and is supported on the Windows 11 OS 🙂

    Working fine for me.

My environment : Windows 11 Professional, MS Office 2021 Professional, RA Premier 2022

    Couple of tips :

Before upgrade, backup EVERYTHING. Just in case .....

After upgrade, install ALL Windows 11 updates up to date. Settings - Windows Update. There will be several

See my other post about Reckon scheduled backup. Long term issue not fixed

Hi Steve - is your Office 2021 64bit or 32? I've read previously that there were compatibility issues with 64bit Office/Outlook and Reckon and wondering if they're resolved in this release before taking the plunge

    Thanks

Correct. RA 2021 has definite issues with Outlook 64-bit. Reckon has not said fixed the issue so assume same with RA 2022.

I'm still using 32-bit Outlook. Not going to waste any time trying 64-bit

Thanks for confirming Steve - was getting a little excited - not that it's a very big deal - just one less thing to remember when setting up new PCs or installing Reckon on an existing PC in our business

    Cheers

John. Just be aware that there are some major issues with Outlook running under Windows 11. This does not affect everybody, but it does affect me. The problem is with the Search function which is only partially working and is therefore largely useless in respect of recent emails. Some people have found some temporary fixes which again, might not work for everybody, whilst others have a fix which seems to work for a day or so and then has to again be repeated. The latest update from Microsoft is that an update is expected to be released late on the day of 28 March at 2PM PST (USA time). This update has been pushed back a number of times, so, don't hold your breath.
