does anyone have any pointers? I have downloaded 7.5 but I'm unable to open or convert the .qdt files unfortunately. I was able to get one later 1998 file converted from a .qbt -> .qbw.

Reckon phone support have so far been rather unhelpful.

You need either a qbb file to restore or a qbw to open. Iā€™m not familiar with converting a qtd file

I don't have much to do with conversions but what 's the specific (old) product you were using ?

I've never heard of a .qtd file type ... It sounds like it may be a "Quicken" one (the old "Personal" - as opposed to "Business" - product range) ? If that's the case, unfortunately I'm pretty sure the 2 product file types are not compatible šŸ˜ž

    Hi @brianwust

I have downloaded 7.5 but I'm unable to open or convert the .qdt files unfortunately.

When you say you downloaded 7.5, did you download Quicken v7.5 OR Quickbooks v7.5?

QDT is from Quicken and needs to go through Quicken V5, then V6 and then the rest of the way.

Also, do you want to convert this from QDT to QBW? QBW is for the Reckon Business range of software.

Pretty sure the files came from quicken (no idea what version) I have tried using both quickbooks 7.5 which can't convert or open the files & quicken (personal ) 2004 which crashes every time i try and use it. Both of these programs were only downloaded last week from the reckon downloads page.

I just need to open the data file so i can print a couple of ledgers for legal reasons.
