Reverting a pay run to draft - stuck by archived employees

Hello,

I am trying to edit salary payments for a few employees in a submitted pay run.

However, it the Reckon Payroll (PC-base app) says I must first reactivate archived employees even though none of the archived are in the pay run I am trying to edit.

So I reactivate everyone from the archived list.

But I still get the error, asking me to reactivate employees. Please help.

    Hi Kien

I've just tried a test this morning on Payroll App (web access) where I archived an employee and then reverted an existing paid pay run (which the employee was not included in) to draft and it seemed to work normally.

The only time I came across that particular message was attempting to revert a paid pay run to draft that did include an archived employee.

Can you let me know the process you're going through and sorry to ask the basic but you're 100% sure the archived employee is not in the specific pay run you're attempting to edit?

    Hi Rav,

I checked. All the employees in the pay run are active.

Just to sure I have even reactivated everyone in the archived list. But the pay run still fails to convert - citing the archived payee glitch.

Can you do me a favour and remove any termination date that is listed in the employee's profile that you've just reactivated, save it and then try again.

Let me know how that goes.

    Yep!

    That did the trick.

    Thanks.
