Pay Run loading issue - Reckon Payroll App


Hi everyone,

We're currently investigating an issue affecting the ability to create and load pay runs in the Payroll App.

Initial observations show that during pay run creation, the screen is stuck in a loading loop after selecting an employee and unable to proceed from there.


Our app devs are currently investigating this as we speak and I hope to have more information to share on this very soon.

Apologies for the inconvenience this is causing at the moment.

    ** UPDATE **

    Our investigations so far are showing this issue is only occurring on the latest iteration of the Payroll App which is version 6.0.49.

    If you are on an older version of the app at the moment, we'd recommend not updating to 6.0.49 just yet.


    This issue is isolated to the mobile app only. Payroll App Web is not affected.

    ** UPDATE **

    Hi everyone,

    Our teams have identified the cause of this issue and we're currently in the process of building a new app update for both iOS and Android to rectify.


    We're aiming to have the builds completed and submitted to Apple & Google for review by tonight and they'll be released as soon as their approval comes through.


    If you are currently a Premium subscriber of the Payroll App, you have access to Payroll App Web which allows you to access your account via a browser on your PC at https://payroll.reckon.com/.

    You'll be able to access all of the functionality that you can in the mobile app, and at this stage would be a good option to use while we get the issue in the mobile app resolved. (Payroll Web is not impacted by the above issue).

    Hi everyone

    The new 6.0.56 update for the Payroll App has been completed, approved and is now available in both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store for download.


    I'd highly recommend downloading this latest update as soon as possible as it will resolve the loading issue that is apparent in the 6.0.49 version.
