    Hi @Liza Oates

How large is your data file? Do you usually perform maintenance on the file?

When you're logged into your company file in Reckon Accounts Hosted, it won't log you out of the file itself unless there is an interruption in the internet connection or PC eg. it goes to sleep/standby mode etc.

There are a few things you can do to maximise the performance you're getting out of the file and I'll link a few resources below -

Just to add a bit more info around the TLG file step -

If you have a very large company file AND the size of your TLG file is also large, then its only a good idea to delete the TLG if you first make a copy of your existing company file and existing TLG file & save that in a separate folder OR download it to your PC just as a precautionary measure.

How large is very large exactly?

If the company file itself AND the TLG file are big in size, then I'd just be cautious with deleting the TLG outright. Please ensure that you adhere to the info in my second reply above in making a copy of your existing file and existing TLG & save it in a different location/folder in your Q drive or even better, download it to your PC.

Another potential option is to obtain the complimentary single-user edition of Reckon Accounts Enterprise 2023 (Desktop) that Hosted customers are entitled to, and perform your backup locally on your PC on that version. Once the file has been upgraded on the desktop edition you just simply upload it to Hosted 2023 and it will be ready for use.
