    Thanks everyone this is driving me crazy I hope that after I go through all the setting up it becomes clearer at this point I am just crossing fingers . So not fair on small business owners to have to be muddling through all this just because ATO brings in requirements that are not by any means straight forward and I would have though Reckon would have had a programe solution given they had extra time to prepare.

    I tried this method in Reckon Payroll and it largely appears to work, however the offset allowances deduction appears to be being reported as Salary Sacrifice in the STP submission. Is there an accepted method for dealing with all purpose allowances in Reckon Payroll?

    Thanks @Rav. This article doesn't mention leave loading, will that be calculated correctly?

    By the way, I've been searching extensively for information on this topic and haven't come across this article before. It looks like it's inaccessible unless you have the direct link.
