I have sold my business and have changed all the company information in reckon hosted but I can't seem to be able to make changes for STP reporting.

    Hi @VHR

Is the ABN going to continue operation with the new ownership or has it ceased in full as well?

Have you changed the email address for the GovConnect account to a new email address that the new owners will be utilising?

Right ok, do you want to retain access to the former ABN's STP entity? Or do you want to hand that over to the new ownership as well?

If its the latter and you've already given the login credentials of the GovConnect account to the new owners then they can create a new STP entity within that same account for the new ABN.

I'll add an example screen recording below where you'll see I already have an STP entity in the account and I can add another one for a new ABN in the same account.

If you want to retain access to the STP entity then the incoming owners will need to create a new account (under a different email address) and register the new ABN under that. A new account can be created by clicking the 'Register' option on this page - https://portal.reckon.com/

Thanks Rav Looks as Simple as I thought it would be.

I don't need to retain access to STP

    Good stuff 👍

Just one more thing I'll add, please ensure you've sent through an EOFY finalisation under the former ABN if you haven't already so that any pay balances sent under it will be finalised on the ATO's end.
