Year to Date totals-missing overtime under individual employee record

Thank you for solving my previous issue with adding email and contact details however I now appear to have another issue. The year to date totals have all been bought across from STP1 but the gross earnings under each employee record are missing the overtime amounts. The YTD payroll summary report is correct and includes all payments to all employees as reported to date under STP1. However the individual employee records which show YTD amount to the right do not include any amounts paid as time and a half or double time in the 'Total gross pay' line. There is an option to update these YTD numbers in the employee record however I am concerned that this will then impact the YTD summary reports.

    Hi @Sue_K

    I can see what you mean, my gut feeling is that the data for the overtime components have been captured and stored properly (hence why the Payroll Summary report is showing the correct balance) however its just not visible on the YTD Summary within the employee profile at the moment.

    Either way though, I've posed this question to the product team and I'll let you know what I manage to find out.

    Apologies for not getting back to you sooner.

    Yes I was having a chat with our dev team in regard to this one and there are a couple of things I can share.

    First up, rest assured the overtime components added in your pay runs are being captured and recorded correctly however they are just not visibly being shown on that YTD Summary page at the moment.

    You can verify this in the Payroll Summary and/or Payroll Detail report which will show the pay items used, check out my example below -

    Secondly, we've got some work to do on our end around this and our team will be looking at making enhancements to the Year to Date Summary screen to display these new components now that STP Phase 2 has introduced disaggregation of gross.

    Lovely, so can you please confirm that when I submit the STP this week, the individual YTD numbers will send over to the ATO with the overtime included?

    Yes indeed, the overtime components that you're adding in your pay runs will be included and sent over in your STP submission.

    At the moment, they're just not being visibly showing up on that particular YTD Summary screen and our team will hopefully be addressing that very soon.
