Is there away to import data into Accounts Hosted

Hello, we are using Reckon Accounts Hosted and are looking for away to import credit card information straight into the system from a report - CSV or QIF or any other way to import data!

We are using a credit card app that allows our clients to put their expenses to a report that assigns an account code and classification, along with a memo/description. We are wanting to import this data into Accounts Hosted as a credit card transaction - currently we are having to enter these all manually and it is taking hours of staff time.

We are aware that Xero has this option but are loathed to move all 30 company files - but we may have to to save on data entry time.

Is there anyway it is possible to import this straight into Accounts Hosted? I have tried the bankdata/fastcoding method but it doesn't import the data correctly. (Leaves out the description, meaning the admin staff have to manually enter the data anyway).

Credit card info is subject to strict compliance , so i need more info ?

Who is your "client" and what sort of expenses they enter?

The app our clients use for this creates a CSV file with all the expenses reported - hence needing to get it to import into Accounts Hosted without having to manually enter it.

Yes , this can be done , have you tried iif utility tool .

Or call me we can build a hard coded Csv Import tool for you for RAH.

You can manually transform your CSV format into the "IIF" format recognized by the Reckon Accounts desktop or Hosted software.

You can have Cosmic Accounting Group develop a utility for you, as they have experience with development and integration with the Reckon Accounts products.
