Emailing Payslips From New Payroll App
When I last spoke to technical support, I was told that we were unable, at this stage, to email payslips to employees.
Does anyone have an update as to when this will be available?

Thank you for your inquiry. After migrating to Reckon Payroll, please note that all Payroll Premier (PP) users will receive a "companion Reckon One Book". To set up this access, please follow these steps:
Use the "Product Switcher" to switch to Reckon One Book which is located at the top left corner.
Navigate to "Settings" in Reckon One Book.
Under General you will find "Book Settings", click on Book settings
And enter the email address:
Click on save after entering email address.
That should resolve the issue.

There are a few things you can do with the companion Reckon One book that you can use in conjunction with Reckon Payroll. For example, creating timesheets and ABA files are actioned in the companion Reckon One book. You can then create pay runs within Reckon Payroll from the timesheet information.
Also, there is a greater range of reports you can generate via the companion book rather than from within Reckon Payroll directly at this stage.
All of the above will be coming into Reckon Payroll directly over the course of the next little while though so over time there will be less need to use the companion book.

Were you able to access Reckon Payroll successfully yesterday?
I think that could be just something temporary, can I get you to logout of Reckon Payroll and then go back in and I think it should be ok for you but let me know how you get on.

Emailing payslips from Reckon Payroll is certainly available and working so I think is could be more related to some settings rather than the service itself.
Check out the info in our post-upgrade FAQ for Payroll Premier customers which I'll link below ๐ as there are some specific steps to enter in your reply-to email address which should then allow your payslips to send successfully

Thanks for your quick response. I checked out the video, however, I migrated from Payroll Premier Desktop, not Reckon One? The video references Reckon One?
There dosen't appear to be an area in Payroll Premier to add the reply email address as in Reckon One.

Thanks so much Reeta, I didn't know about the companion Reckon One book. Have now added the reply email address, and will try emailing payslips from my next pay run.
Are there any other instances where I would have to switch to the companion book?

Can someone help with this, just happened, very frustrating, I switched over to reckon one yesterday to add my email address so that I could email payslips from my payroll app, so not sure if the issue I have now is because of that, or just a technical issue?
