Chart of Accounts - Numberical
Hello,
Out business has changed hands and currently use Reckon Enterprise, and new company uses 10 digit numerical which we would like to migrate into existing Chart. I've activated GL Numerical but notice that 7 digit is the maximum and noticed you cannot duplicate. Is there way around to migrate new/old Chart of Accounts by introducing numbers.
Cheers
Karina

Hi Karina
Unfortunately, that will be a fixed character limit so I’d suggest using either the first or last 7 digits (whichever part changes per account) of your original 10-digit numbers ☺️

An alternative to using the built-in 'Account Number" field, is to add the account number as a prefix to the "Account Name".
You'd need to check whether this is suitable for your needs and how the account name is displayed in the reports that you need to generate and see them in.
