The Reckon Payroll mobile app has received an update to version 7.0.58 which brings in some highly requested enhancements along with squashing a few bugs.

We strongly recommend our Reckon Payroll App users download the latest update from their respective app store (links below) so you're on the latest version and can take advantage of these new features πŸ™‚

Check out details of the new inclusions in the latest app version below!

πŸ†• Ordinary hours worked automatically reduce when leave is taken

You now have the option to automatically reduce ordinary time earnings (OTE) by the leave taken hours within a payrun.

When this setting is switched on, the OTE hours in a payrun will be reduced when any leave hours have been entered, if there are insufficient hours to reduce the OTE pay item then it will reduce to zero.

This is applicable for employees who are set to full time or part time as their employment type.

ℹ️ To use this functionality, please switch it on via the Pay Run Preferences in your Settings menu

πŸ†• Salary item enhancements

When adding a salary pay item to an employee's pay run, you'll now be able to see the hour rate and quantity details.

πŸ› Bug Fixes

  • Corrected archived employees displaying when creating a pay run
  • Corrected incorrect rate display when adding, removing then re-adding a salary item within the same pay run
  • Enhancements for incomplete employee selection during pay run creation process
  • Payment Rounding settings updated to allow account selection when a rounding amount is selected only
