Hi,

It is end of fringe benefit tax year.

My accountant has provided me the grossed up amount of reportable fringe benefit amount which I need to enter for the employee with the last March pay cycle. But I can't seem to find where I would enter this amount?

Any advice appreciated. Thanks

    Hi @yxk

You can add a YTD fringe benefit balance to an employee via their profile.

Edit the employee profile and select the Initial YTD section. You can then add the balance.

    Morning @yxk

Regarding your query for RFBA, to add an amount in employee pay run. Please create an item (Company Contribution) where you can select the Tax Tracking/Expense Account for Fringe Benefits. Once you have the item created, you can process employee pay run with RFBA Item included and submit to ATO.

Please find the attached article - Managing Company Contributions - Reckon Help and Support Centre

Please let us know, if you have any concerns/issues. Thank you!

@Rav, same thing again this year. It is Reportable Fringe Benefit Amount for an electric vehicle (so exempt from FBT), but there are only the options of RFBA (non exempt) or RFBA (exceeding exempt) on the payroll app. How do I go about entering it?

    Hi @yxk,

I recommend consulting your accountant to discuss these options. Additionally, you may find further information through the following resource.
